Most American freight rail companies are squeezing rail workers to make more money for CEO salaries and shareholder #profits. They refuse to give workers sick days, sick pay, or predictable work schedules. They assign just two workers to multi-mile long trains, and recently they tried to reduce that to one worker. They also forbid workers to make #TrainSafety checks, to save money. When wrecks happen, American small towns pay the price. We need strong new #TrainSafetyRules to keep our freight rail system safe.
